The name of the show is emblematic of what will be presented to visitors: the fusion of a term" raw "(and symbolic abbreviation of the term" graffiti "), and an element instead "fine" and ordered (and characteristic of the playing fields of many sports) is likely to sum up the style used by Barf, characterized as stated above, while both elements of figurative and realistic, so if we want "classic", and abstract elements and less refined, free from any schema, often left to the randomness of the act. The techniques used for the construction of the works are the most varied, the use of the spray, the oil paint, acrylic, enamel to markers on media canvas panels or wood panels.
Matt Carne was born in Pavia April 27, 1990. From an early age showed a great passion for all what design and color, just the 'corner of a sheet of paper and a pen and forms begin to emerge. As for art, has always been an equally great love for sports (football and basketball in particular), and the two often travel together, so much so that people who always prefers to portray are just "sporty". while attending Junior High School Binasco (his country of residence from birth), is fortunate to have as a professor of Art Education Professor Luigi Longeri, which follows him and helps him to refine his technique and design use of color. It 'just a teacher to push him permanently alla scelta ormai comunque ponderata da tempo,di frequentare il Liceo Artistico,al quale,una volta finite le scuole medie,si iscrive,precisamente presso l'Istituto A.Volta di Pavia. Ed è lì che,al terzo anno di frequentazione,insieme a 3 nuovi compagni di classe,comincia la sua esperienza come writer,all'interno della nuova "Rane Crew",conosciuta anche come "Mesk". Il nome d'arte "Barf" viene da lui scelto dunque per essere utilizzato in primis nell'ambito dei graffiti,per poi essere sfruttato anche in ambito musicale,nella sua esperienza rap/hip hop: Barf fa infatti parte da 2 anni dei "Fra Jamb", il duo fondato da lui stesso con il suo grande amico torinese Alessandro "JMA" Assorgia. Per quanto riguarda la sua produzione artistica nell'ambito dei graffiti ( e anche più in generale nella sua produzione di tele),Barf dimostra da sempre una grande attitudine per il disegno figurativo,contemporaneamente abbinato all'utilizzo di elementi del tutto astratti,quali schizzi e colature di colore,tipici della cultura street,da non confondersi però con la Street Art,dalla quale,in quanto graffitaro,si distacca per principio. Al momento Barf frequenta il primo anno dell'Accademia di Belle Arti "Brera" di Milano mentre in ambito musicale,a breve verrà pubblicato su internet il singolo "Allievi",realizzato sempre nel progetto Fra Jamb,in collaborazione con il rapper Vacca.
